Mersey the County Class

This is for ~PercyTailsOreos's OC contest. I apologize for the poor quality

Ex-GWR County Class No. 1030
“County of Mersey”, original name unknown.

Bio: This Hawksworth-Designed 4-6-0 was always dysfunctional from the start. He enjoyed playing tricks on some of the higher-ups, almost pushing the local stationmasters to no end, causing him to lose his original nameplate. With much paperwork, the little annoyance was sent over to the Midland Region, where he was renamed “County of Mersey”. Come the 1960’s, he became immersed with the new diesels as well as the beatnik culture from the passengers who rode his train, causing him to get custom shades from the local locomotive workshed. When steam traction dried up, he found himself on the Peterborough, Bedford, and Juniper Railway by the ECML, where he continues to work passenger trains to this day.
Voice, Personality, and Other Mannerisms: Due to his high Western upbringing, he is well-versed in the posh accents of the Churchward Ten-wheelers, but also the heavy, slurred Scouse from his career in Liverpool. He’s a bit of a trickster, enjoys laughing, and will not waste an opportunity to snark or mock someone unless it crosses a line. He dreams to one day have a beret like a real beatnik, but his first one blew away on the first journey he took it on. He’s also highly melodramatic and loves acting whenever he passes by a trainspotter camera by making faces or scaring the bejesus out of them. Although, he is very humble and a good friend, getting defensive if anyone makes fun of them. He’s friends with a single-cab railcar numbered 119 and GWR Star Class “Lode Star”.
Abilities: He’s a steam locomotive. All he can do is drive himself, have a face, talk, and occasionally throw his voice to fool other trains. Simple enough.
